Pengelolaan Pelayanan dan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Remaja dengan Pencegahan Kecanduan Gadget melalui Metode : Pendekatan Psikoedukasi di lingkungan VIII Kelurahan Pangkalan Masyhur Kecamatan Medan Johor

Abstract

Gadget addiction is a tendency experienced by individuals to be compelled and obsessed with the use of gadgets, which can pose a harmful risk to the physical and psychological condition of adolescents. An effective method to increase adolescents' knowledge and awareness of gadget addiction is psychoeducation. This senior practice aims to identify the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of adolescents regarding gadget addiction and to provide psychoeducation related to the prevention of gadget addiction among adolescents in the VIII neighborhood of Pangkalan Masyhur, Medan Johor District. The instruments used are the assessment format, pre-test and post-test questionnaires and observation sheets. The methods used in field learning practice (PBL) include interviews, observations and nursing interventions for 5 adolescents. The results of the field learning practice show an increase in knowledge, attitudes of acceptance, and the ability to provide good actions among adolescents regarding gadget addiction prevention. The results of this senior practical are expected to serve as an effective alternative in preventing gadget addiction among adolescents in the community and improving health outcomes as well as the quality of nursing services through psychoeducational methods.
