    Abstract
The People's Business Credit (KUR) program, initiated by the Indonesian government and distributed through banks, has consistently shown an upward trend in disbursement realization, even surpassing the government’s annual targets. However, in the past five years, the program has also experienced a rising trend in Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratios. This increase poses a threat to the sustainability of the KUR program, especially in the agribusiness sector — a designated priority sector — and may affect the stability of the banking financial system. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the repayment performance of KUR in the agribusiness sector at Bank X, Universitas Sumatera Utara Branch, Medan City. A quantitative method was employed using binary logistic regression to examine the effect of age, education level, distance from the bank, duration of business operation, household income, loan amount, and repayment period on credit repayment performance. The data were obtained from 90 samples who are active KUR debtors in the agribusiness sector. The analysis reveals that three variables — education level, distance from the bank, and repayment period— have a significant influence on KUR repayment performance. In contrast, age, duration of business, loan amount, and household income do not show a significant effect. These findings imply the need for more selective debtor assessment policies and credit analysis based on data to better predict credit risk and evaluate debtors’ repayment capabilities.
