    Abstract
Pediatric epilepsy is a chronic neurological condition that affects not only the physical aspect but also the psychological aspect, especially when experiencing repeated hospitalizations. Hospitalization can trigger anxiety and depression in children, which hinders the overall healing process. Music therapy has been identified as an effective non-pharmacological intervention to support the emotional well-being of pediatric patients. This study aims to evaluate nursing care for children with epilepsy who experience depression due to hospitalization through the application of music therapy. The method used was a case study of one 7-year- old male patient with a history of epilepsy and mild depression. Music therapy interventions were carried out for four consecutive days at the patient's home, with music listening sessions and playing simple musical instruments, and involving parents in the therapy process. Measurement of anxiety levels was carried out using the Face anxiety scale (FAS). Results showed a decrease in anxiety score from 2 to 1 and an increase in the child's positive responses to the environment, such as eye contact, calm expression, and play initiative. Education to parents also improved their readiness to accompany their children and manage epileptic conditions at home.
