The Role of Interpersonal Communication Between Employees and Leaders in Improving Work Professionalism at PT Bank Sumut KCP Krakatau
Abstract
Interpersonal communication at PT. Bank Sumut KCP Krakatau plays a crucial role in creating an effective and professional work environment. However, challenges such as misunderstandings and differing perspectives between employees and management still persist. This study aims to explore how interpersonal communication can enhance work professionalism at PT. Bank Sumut KCP Krakatau. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted at PT. Bank Sumut KCP Krakatau.The findings of this study indicate that effective interpersonal communication can improve professionalism, foster relationships between employees and management, reduce conflicts, and enhance job satisfaction. Although challenges remain, they can be addressed through more open communication. In conclusion, effective interpersonal communication is key to creating a productive work environment, thereby promoting work professionalism.
