dc.description.abstractBackground: Kimia Farma Pharmacy 27 in Medan City fills prescriptions for various diseases, including the three most common diseases each month, namely Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM2), Hypertension, and Hypercholesterolemia. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between pharmacist counseling and patients' knowledge, compliance, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes at Kimia Farma 27 Pharmacy in Medan. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest posttest design, using total sampling techniques with 112 DM2 respondents, 110 hypertension respondents, and 108 hypercholesterolemia respondents who were outpatients at KF 27 Pharmacy in Medan from February to April 2025. Data collection was conducted by filling out a validated questionnaire. The data was then analyzed using IBM SPSS 20. Results: There was a significant effect of pharmacist counseling on the level of knowledge of DM2 patients before 3.07±1.69 after 7.36±1.70, hypertension before 3.18±1.85 after 6.95±2.02, hypercholesterolemia before 3.14±1.69 after 7.39±1.70. The level of compliance among DM2 patients was 3.32±1.88 before counseling and 7.15±1.83 after counseling. The level of compliance among hypertension patients was 3.96±2.20 before counseling and 7.04±2.01 after counseling. The level of compliance among hypercholesterolemia patients was 3.39±1.90 before counseling and 7.21±1.77 after counseling. The satisfaction level of DM2 patients after counseling was 32.22±4.75, hypertension 32.15±4.79, and hypercholesterolemia 32.69±4.65. The clinical outcome of DM2 patients before was 271.90±12.57 and after was 204.01±2.24. hypertension before 174.15±6.91 and after 123.85±2.71, hypercholesterolemia before 208.68±5.33 and after 150.69±7.15. On average, patients demonstrated a good level of knowledge, high satisfaction, and adherence to pharmacist counseling. Conclusion: Pharmacist counseling has a positive effect on improving medication knowledge, compliance, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes of patients with DM2, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia at Kimia Farma 27 Medan.en_US
