Objective: The objective of this internship is to understand, master, and carry out the duties and functions of a pharmacist at the H. Adam Malik General Hospital in Medan. The main focus includes the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and disposable medical supplies, as well as providing clinical pharmacy services such as prescription screening, drug preparation, and patient counseling to achieve effective and safe drug therapy.
Summary: Professional Pharmacist Internship at H. Adam Malik General Hospital in Medan was conducted over several weeks with rotations in various departments, including the Outpatient Pharmacy Department, Inpatient Pharmacy Department, Emergency Pharmacy Department, and pharmacy warehouse.
