| dc.description.abstract | Office layout is one of the key factors that influence the smooth operation of administrative activities and employee comfort. At the Department of Manpower in Medan City, the office layout in the Administrative Division still faces several issues, such as cramped spacing between desks, suboptimal lighting, and limited circulation areas. This research aims to evaluate the current office layout conditions, identify the obstacles faced, and provide recommendations for a more effective spatial arrangement.This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the current office layout does not yet meet ergonomic and work efficiency principles. Major issues include limited physical space, improper furniture placement that disrupts workflow, and inadequate lighting. Therefore, a reorganization of the office layout is needed by considering comfort, efficiency, and employee workflow in order to enhance work productivity. | en_US |
