Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a concept and effort to ensure the integrity and perfection of both physical and mental health for workers in particular, and humans in general. Occupational health is a very important factor for productivity and increasing the productivity of the workforce as a human resource. Health and work capacity are closely related to a person's nutritional status. A balanced intake and distribution of calories during work can make workers feel more energetic and perform their tasks effectively. Workers with overweight or obesity are at higher risk of developing degenerative diseases. Overweight and obesity are influenced by various factors or multifactorial causes such as genetics, lifestyle, and poor dietary habits. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity, dietary patterns, and energy intake with the occurrence of overweight among SABHARA members at the Langkat Police Station. The research method used is a quantitative, analytical study employing a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, consisting of 49 members. Nutritional status data was collected using a body scale and microtoise, energy intake data using the 24-hour food recall method, dietary patterns using the FFQ questionnaire, and physical activity data using the IPAQ Short-Form questionnaire. Chi-Square statistical tests were used to analyze the data. The results showed that 57,1% of members were overweight, 18,3% had low physical activity levels, 53,1% had poor energy intake, and 49,0% had inadequate dietary patterns. The study also revealed a relationship between physical activity, dietary patterns, and energy intake with the occurrence of overweight. The Langkat Police Department is encouraged to implement a weekly exercise or fitness program at the office or other physical activities, as well as conduct awareness campaigns on healthy eating patterns for its members.en_US
