Efektivitas Penyaluran Zakat oleh Baznas Kabupaten Mandailing Natal terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan dan Tingkat Ketimpangan Pendapatan di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal

Abstract

Effective zakat distribution can reduce the percentage of poverty and the community can utilize the zakat funds distributed to realize a prosperous life. BAZNAS Mandailing Natal Regency has the potential to overcome economic problems such as poverty, zakat distribution provides a significant contribution to poverty reduction in Mandailing Natal Regency. This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of zakat distribution in BAZNAS Mandailing Natal Regency and its effect on poverty levels and income inequality in Mandailing Natal Regency with population data sourced from BAZNAS Mandailing Natal Regency reports, publication reports of the Central Bureau of Statistics. This research approach is descriptive quantitative. The data analysis used in this research is in measuring the level of effectiveness of zakat distribution is the core principle: allocation to collection ratio and linear regression to determine the effect between the variable effectiveness of zakat distribution (x) on poverty (y1) and income inequality (y2). The results of the research analysis show that the distribution of zakat in BAZNAS Mandailing Natal Regency is considered effective and has a negative significant effect on poverty, but has no significant effect on income inequality.
