Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Klien Tb Paru terhadap Kepatuhan Minum Obat dengan Media Scrapbook di Puskesmas Medan Johor

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis in one pf the ten leading causes of death worldwide. Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria that cause pulmonary TB are the most common in the lungs and can be prevented and cured. Patient compliance in taking medication is very important for successful treatment. One of the main causes of tuberculosis treatment failure is patient non-compliance, which is an obstacle to achieving long-term treatment recovery often makes patients bored and causes their non-compliance in taking medication. The purpose of this senior practitioner is to provide nursing care by implementing Scrapbook media as a reminder to take medication for pulmonary TB patients. Nursing care was carried out from June 9-June 13, 2025 to one pulmonary TB patient by providing a Scrapbook to improve client compliance in taking medication. With Scrapbook media, it is very effective in being given to pulmonary TB patients with a percentage of 95%, it can help clients with compliance in taking medication for pulomonary TB patients.
