Background: The pharmaceutical industry plays an important role in ensuring the availability of safe, high-quality, and effective medicines. To that end, the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a must in every production process. The Indonesian Air Force Pharmaceutical Agency (LAFIAU) Drs. Roostyan Effendie, Apt., Bandung, is one of the military pharmaceutical facilities that plays a role in providing medicines for soldiers, civil servants, and families of the Indonesian Air Force, as well as being a place of learning for prospective pharmacists in understanding pharmaceutical industry practices. Objective: The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) is carried out with the aim of enabling students to understand the role, function, and responsibilities of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as to gain direct experience in the application of CPOB, quality assurance, quality control, production, and other support systems. Summary: PKPA activities include observation and simulation of various aspects of pharmacy at LAFIAU, including the production process, quality assurance, quality control, self-inspection, documentation, and production support, including air conditioning (HVAC) systems, water treatment systems, waste management, and drug storage in warehouses. In addition, students are also introduced to the complaint handling and product recall systems, as well as the importance of qualification and validation in ensuring drug quality. Conclusion: PKPA at LAFIAU provides a comprehensive understanding of CPOB implementation in the pharmaceutical industry, while strengthening prospective pharmacists' competencies in technical, managerial, and regulatory aspects. This experience is expected to improve students' readiness to contribute as professional pharmacists who are oriented towards quality and patient safety.en_US
