| dc.description.abstract | Background : Pharmacists play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products, particularly in the biopharmaceutical industry involving cell- and tissue-based products. Therefore, the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) is essential to provide students with direct exposure to
regulatory standards and industrial practices.
Objective : This program aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, skills, and practical experience in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB), while strengthening their understanding of the pharmacist’s responsibilities in the pharmaceutical industry.
Methods : The PKPA was conducted at PT Daewoong Biologics Indonesia, Jababeka, from March 2 to April 30, 2025. The participant was primarily assigned to the Quality Assurance (QA) Department, engaging in activities such as document review, deviation and change control, audit preparation, and training management. Additional exposure to other departments was provided through structured internal training.
Results : The program demonstrated that PT Daewoong Biologics Indonesia consistently applies all aspects of CPOB in compliance with BPOM regulations, including quality systems, facilities, equipment, production, quality control, and validation.
Conclusion : Through this PKPA, the participant gained practical experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance, thereby improving professional readiness to contribute effectively in the pharmaceutical industry. | en_US |
