Abstract

This Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) was conducted as part of the Pharmacist Professional Education curriculum at the University of North Sumatra. This PKPA was organized in collaboration with Lafiau Roostyan Effendie, Apt., with the main objective of improving prospective pharmacists' understanding of the role, function, and responsibilities of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry. The methods used during this PKPA were direct observation of production flow and quality management, active participation in daily activities, and literature studies to compare theory with practice in the field. The results of this PKPA show that pharmacists have a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products, from the production stage to distribution. Overall, this practice provides a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical industry operational standards and equips students with essential practical skills for the pharmacist profession
