Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor originating from the epithelial cells of the uterus due to HPV infection. According to WHO, cervical cancer is the most common type of cancer among women. One of the government's preventive efforts is early detection using the VIA method. However, its utilization remains low, with national VIA screening coverage between 2021–2023 at only 14,6%. In North Sumatra, the coverage was 16,6%, and in Medan City, only 7,86%. In 2020, Sicanang Health center had the highest coverage (5,9%) and Martubung Health center the lowest (0,0%). In 2021, the highest was at Bestari Health center (11,6%) and the lowest again at Martubung Health center (0,0%). In 2022, the highest was Medan Area Selatan Health center (14,7%) and the lowest Martubung Health center (0,4%). In 2023, the highest was Padang Bulan Health center (25,5%) and the lowest Martubung Health center (0,0%). In 2024, Martubung's coverage was only 1,90%. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the utilization of early cervical cancer detection services using the VIA method at Martubung Health center in Medan City in 2025. This research employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design conducted in May–June 2025. The population consisted of women of reproductive age in the working area of Martubung Health center. A total of 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Statistical tests showed significant relationships between knowledge (p=0,001), attitude (p=0,001), information exposure (p=0,001), family support (p=0,001), health worker support (p=0,001), and health condition (p=0,001) with the utilization of early cervical cancer detection services using the VIA method at Martubung Health center in Medan City in 2025. It is recommended that health promotion officers provide education and information regarding the benefits, requirements, advantages, and importance of VIA screening, as well as involve families in supporting women of reproductive age in utilizing these services.en_US
