| dc.description.abstract | Background: Pharmacy is a pharmaceutical service facility where pharmacists practice to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of drug use.
Objective: The internship at Gratia Farma 3 Pharmacy intended to provide real experience for pharmacy students in understanding pharmacists’ roles and responsibilities, and to compare practices with the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 73/2016.
Summary: Conducted from October 1–28, 2024, activities included pharmaceutical supply management (planning, procurement, receiving, storage, control, disposal, recording, reporting) and clinical pharmacy services (prescription review, dispensing, drug information, counseling, and self-medication). Observations showed that most activities complied with service standards, particularly in drug management and prescription services. However, clinical pharmacy services such as Home Pharmacy Care, Drug Therapy Monitoring, and Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring were not fully implemented due to resource limitations.
Conclusion: Overall, the internship at Gratia Farma 3 Pharmacy significantly enhanced students’ knowledge, skills, and practical experience. Pharmaceutical services were generally in accordance with national standards, although several clinical services require further development. | en_US |
