Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the food crops that is widely cultivated in Indonesia, especially in Deli Serdang Regency. With the calculation of harvest area and harvest productivity data, it is hoped that it can provide estimates using machine learning. The purpose of this study is to provide estimates of rice plant productivity. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2021, the rice harvest area reached around 10.41 million ha or decreased by 245.47 thousand ha (2.30%) compared to 2020. Meanwhile, rice production in 2021 was 54.42 million tons. When converted into rice, rice production in 2021 reached around 31.36 million tons or decreased by 140.73 thousand tons (0.45%) compared to rice production in 2020. North Sumatra is ranked seventh in terms of the largest rice harvest contributor with 2,004,142.51 tons of dry milled grain. For the price of the rice harvest itself, in 2021 the average price of dry harvested grain at the farmer level was IDR 4,622 per kilogram. In 2021, North Sumatra had a rice harvest area of 385,405 ha. Deli Serdang as one of the regencies in North Sumatra has 31,284 ha of rice harvest area in 2021 with a harvest yield of 363,623 tons. With this data, it can be said that Deli Serdang Regency is one of the rice barns in North Sumatra.
