This study examines the effect of emotion regulation on resilience, with social support as a moderating variable, among wives who have experienced infidelity. Employing a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the research involved 282 wives who had experienced infidelity yet chose to remain in their marriages, recruited through snowball sampling. The findings revealed that social support moderates the positive relationship between emotion regulation (cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression) and resilience. These results underscore the crucial role of both emotion regulation strategies and social support in fostering resilience among wives coping with infidelity.en_US
