Abstract
Adolescence is a very important developmental period in the formation of self-identity which is influenced by biological, psychological, and social aspects. The inability of adolescents to fulfill their developmental tasks can cause an identity crisis and have an impact on mental health. This senior practice report aims to manage mental health nursing services and care in improving the readiness of adolescent psychosocial development through psychosocial development stimulation. The study was conducted in Marindal II Village, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, using a community mental health nursing care approach. Three adolescent clients aged 12-16 years became the subjects of the study using the Erikson Psychosocial Stage Inventory (EPSI) instrument to assess the stages of identity vs. identity confusion. The nursing interventions carried out included promoting self-awareness through health education, therapeutic discussions, providing educational media in the form of leaflets, and guidance in preparing self-development plans. The evaluation results showed an increase in self-concept, decision-making skills, independence, and future planning in clients. In this case, it is highly recommended for the family to be able to provide optimal psychosocial development stimulation
