Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Kandang Ayam dan Pupuk Organik Cair Daun Lamtoro terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.)
Effects of Chicken Manure and Lamtoro Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.)
Abstract
Pakcoy is a horticultural crop commonly grown in both highland and lowland areas and is widely favored by consumers. Prolonged use of chemical fertilizers can alter soil composition and reduce the quality of pakcoy yields. Therefore, organic farming is considered a sustainable alternative. The research was conducted from March to May 2025 at Gang Kenanga 2, Jalan Jamin Ginting KM 11.5, Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City, North Sumatra. A Randomized Complite Block Design was employed with two factors: (1) Chicken manure fertilizer at 0, 5, 10, and 15 ton/ha, and (2) Liquid organic fertilizer from lamtoro leaves at 0, 80.000, 160.000, and 240.000 L/ha. The results showed that chicken manure had a significant effect on all observed parameters of pakcoy growth and yield, with the best performance at 15 ton/ha. However, the application of liquid organic fertilizer from lamtoro leaves had no significant effect on any of the observed parameters. Furthermore, there was no significant interaction between chicken manure and the liquid organic fertilizer on any measured variable.
