This research analyzes the main character in the film Nowhere (2023) directed by Albert Pintó, which tells the story of Mia, a pregnant woman struggling to survive after escaping violence and an authoritarian regime. The film reflects the global refugee crisis, particularly the vulnerability of women and children, making it both academically and socially relevant. The study aims to examine how the protagonist is portrayed and the factors influencing her character development through attitudes and actions. This research employs a qualitative method using film content analysis and literature review. The findings reveal that emotional dynamics such as fear, despair, and hope play a crucial role in shaping Mia’s transformation. This study contributes to film and narratology studies by emphasizing character as a dynamic structure, while also providing practical references for filmmakers and educators in developing authentic and multidimensional fictional characters.
