Nurse performance is an issue that requires serious attention, particularly in relation to the implementation of patient safety culture. Patient safety culture is a critical element in the healthcare system that aims to minimize risks and incidents that may endanger patients. It is not merely a normative concept, but one that has a direct impact on the operational effectiveness and efficiency of hospitals. This study aims to analyze the influence of the implement ation of patient safet culture on nurse performance at Datu Beru Regional General Hospital Takengon. The research employed a survey design. The sample was determined using Slovin's formula, resulting in a total of 190 nurses, selected through simple random sampling. Data collection used the patient safety culture questionnaire from the SOPS Hospital Survey Version 2.0, developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), along with a nurse performance questionnaire. All items had previously been tes ted for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that the implementation of patient safety culture was mostly in the moderate category (54.3%), and nurse performance was also mostly in the moderate category (53.7%). The analysis revealed that the implementation of patient safety culture had a significant effect on nurse performance, with a p value of <0.001. This indicates that fostering a strong patient safety culture can significantly improve nurs e performance. It is crucial for hospitals to actively develop and implement a patient safety culture in the workplace, whether through regular training, policy formulation, or continuous mentoring.en_US
