This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional regulation and subjective well-being among inmates in a women's correctional institution. This study involved 181 inmates selected using an accidental sampling method. The research method is a quantitative research method with data collection using a Likert scale with two measuring instruments. Emotional regulation was measured using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) while subjective well-being was measured using the Positive Affect Negative Affect (PANAS) and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the higher a person's emotional regulation, the higher the subjective well-being of inmates in the Women's Correctional Institution. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between emotional regulation and subjective well-being (p < 0.005) among inmates in the Women's Correctional Institution.en_US
