Background: Community health centers (Puskesmas) are first-level health care facilities that provide public and individual health services within their working areas. Pharmaceutical services at Puskesmas must meet standards in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation No. 74 of 2016, which includes clinical and managerial pharmacy services. These services aim to ensure the availability, quality, safety, and rational use of medicines for the community. Pharmacists play a central role in ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical services, supporting government health programs, and improving overall public health. Objective: This Pharmacist Internship is designed to provide prospective pharmacists with a first-hand understanding of the roles, functions, and responsibilities of pharmacists in Puskesmas and to apply pharmaceutical services in accordance with the standards of Minister of Health Regulation No. This PKPA activity also provided the author with practical experience and knowledge in implementing clinical pharmacy and managerial services at the Belawan Community Health Center. Summary: PKPA activities at the Belawan Community Health Center include managing medications and medical supplies (planning, procurement, receiving, storage, distribution, and disposal), reporting through the e-logistics and SIMPUS systems, and providing clinical pharmacy services in the form of drug information services (PIO), self-medication, counseling, and involvement in programs such as drug management for TB, HIV, and Family Planning. In addition, community education activities were conducted regarding rational drug use (POR) and sanitation. Conclusion: After conducting the PKPA activity at the Belawan Community Health Center, it can be concluded that pharmacists play a strategic role in primary health care, particularly in ensuring the quality, safety, and availability of medications, as well as promoting rational drug use. Prospective pharmacists understand and are able to apply pharmaceutical services in accordance with the standards of the Minister of Health Regulation No. 74 of 2016, and support the achievement of national health programs at the Community Health Center level.en_US
