Makrofauna Tanah sebagai Spesies Bioindikator pada Areal Perkebunan Karet yang diberi Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit sebagai Pupuk
Soil Macrofauna act as Bioindicator Spesies at Rubber Plantation Areas given by the Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste as Fertilizer
Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the density and macrofauna of soil that acts as a bioindicator species in rubber plantations owned by the community in Firdaus Village. Determination of the sampling points was used by Purposive Sampling Method, and the soil macrofauna sampling used a Hand Sorting and Quadrat Methods. This research was done by making a comparison of 2 types of plots, the first is the control plot (without waste) and the second is the aplication plot (waste giving). The results of this research showed there were 22 species of soil macrofauna found divided into 4 phylum, 8 classes, 12 orders, 14 families and 20 genera. The highest total population density was found at the application plot by the amount of 714.10 Ind/m2 compared to the control plot at only 275.45 Ind/m2. Pontoscolex corethrurus, Macrotermes gilvus, and Solonepsis sp. were act as the bioindicator species with KR values (> 10%) and FK values (> 25%).
