Self-leadership and the work environment are two crucial factors that can influence murse job satisfaction. Nurses who are capable of leading themselves and working in a supportive environment tend to experience higher levels of job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the influence of self-leadership and the work environment on nurse job satisfaction at Islamic Hospital Malahayati Medan. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach, conducted from January to April 2025 at the Islamic Hospital Malahayati Medan. The population consisted of all inpatient ward nurses, with a total sampling technique yielding 80 respondents. Data were analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple linear regression tests. The results of the Pearson correlation test indicate a significant influence of self- leadership on nurse job satisfaction at RSI Malahayati Medan, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. Likewise, the work environment significantly affects nurse job satisfaction at RSI Malahayati Medan, also with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The multiple linear regression test revealed that the most influential variable indicator on nurse job satisfaction was the nurse-physician relationship (β= 0.427)
