    Abstract
    Background: The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) at Prof. dr. H. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, University of North Sumatra, is one of the professional work practices in the pharmacist professional education program. Through PKPA, prospective pharmacists will be prepared to carry out their duties and responsibilities in hospitals. They will acquire the necessary skills and expertise, as well as have the opportunity to see firsthand the management of pharmaceutical supplies and the implementation of pharmaceutical services in the hospital. Objective: This PKPA aims to equip prospective pharmacists to be ready to enter the workforce in hospitals and to be able to practice pharmacy professionally based on applicable laws and regulations and professional standards. Method: The PKPA at Prof. dr. H. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis University of North Sumatra Hospital was held from January 2 to February 28, 2025. The activities carried out include the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and Consumable Medical Supplies (BMHP), as well as various clinical pharmacy services at the hospital. Clinical pharmacy services include outpatient care, inpatient care, emergency room depot, operating room (OR) depot, chemotherapy depot, and warehouse. Results: Pharmaceutical supplies and hospital clinical pharmacy services provided by the pharmacy department comply with legal requirements and have been implemented, except for clinical pharmacy services for Blood Drug Level Monitoring (PKOD). Conclusion: Prof. dr. H. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, University of North Sumatra has a well-managed organizational structure and procedures, enabling prospective pharmacists to acquire quality pharmaceutical knowledge during their PKPA.
