    Abstract
    Home security systems are an essential technology to prevent criminal acts such as burglary while providing protection for residents and property. This research designed and implemented a home security control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using an ESP32-CAM, PIR sensor, buzzer, blitz lamp, and RTC, integrated with the Telegram application as a notification and remote-control platform. The system automatically detected motion through the PIR sensor, activated the buzzer and strobe light as immediate alerts, sent photos to Telegram, and recorded two-minute videos stored on a microSD card as visual evidence. Users were also able to control the devices via Telegram, including deactivating the alarm and strobe light as well as requesting photos. The experimental results showed that all components operated stably at normal voltages, with the PIR sensor achieving an effective detection range of up to 7 meters with 100% accuracy. The ESP32-CAM successfully captured images and recorded videos averaging 2.74 MB, while the strobe light operated according to the RTC schedule between 18.00-06.00 WIB. Overall, the system proved to be responsive, real-time, and more advanced than previous studies by integrating both active prevention features and visual documentation to enhance home security.
