Mobilisasi Dini Pascaoperasi pada Pasien Fraktur Ekstremitas Bawah di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat H Adam Malik Medan
Early Postoperative Mobilization in Lower Extremity Fracture Patients at H Adam Malik Central General Hospital
Abstract
Mobilization is the ability to move freely using coordination between the
nervous system and the muscles of the body. Early mobilization after lower limb
fracture surgery has been shown to reduce the risk of immobilization complications
and accelerate the return of limb function. Globally, by 2022, only about 30-40%
of patients will receive optimal early mobilization within 48 hours of stabilization.
This shows that the implementation of early mobilization is still uneven. In
Indonesia, the results of observational studies conducted in several teaching
hospitals show that only about 25-35% of postoperative patients perform early
mobilization in the first 24 hours after surgery. The purpose of this paper is to
describe early mobilization in patients with lower extremity fracture disease in the
RB 3 Room of the H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital Medan. The results of
the assessment obtained the main complaint is impaired mobilization since being
hospitalized. Nursing diagnoses are impaired physical mobility, acute pain,
impaired skin integrity, risk of bleeding, and risk of infection. The nursing action
plan that has been prepared has been implemented and the nursing evaluation of
the problem is partially resolved. Nurses are expected to further improve nursing
care services by monitoring early mobilization in postoperative patients with lower
limb fractures to improve service quality and patient health status
