Community health centers are primary public health facilities that provide preventive and promotive services to achieve public health goals, with pharmaceutical regulations outlined in Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation No. 74 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Community Health Centers. This PKPA activity was conducted at the Mandala Community Health Center in Medan using observation, interviews, and document review methods to compare the implementation of pharmaceutical services at community health centers. This PKPA activity was conducted at the Mandala Community Health Center in Medan using observation, interviews, and document review methods to compare the implementation of pharmaceutical services at community health centers. The evaluation results showed that most pharmaceutical service activities were in accordance with the standards, including the management of pharmaceutical supplies, medical devices, and disposable medical materials, as well as several clinical pharmacy activities such as prescription screening and dispensing. However, it was found that patient counseling in clinical pharmacy services had not been implemented, so that patient assistance was still limited. Overall, the implementation of pharmaceutical services at the UPT. Puskesmas has been carried out in accordance with the standards of Permenkes No. 74 of 2016, especially in terms of management, but further development is still needed in the implementation of clinical pharmacy services so that service quality can be optimally achieved. | en_US |
