Studi Pemodelan Dispersi Sulfur Dioksida dengan Menggunakan Metode Gaussian Distribution pada Peternakan Babi di Mandala
Study of Sulfur Dioxide Dispersion Modeling Using the Gaussian Distribution Method in Pig Swine Mandala
Abstract
A livestock can caused air pollution. One type of gas produced is sulfur dioxide (SO2). To measure the concentration of sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere can be done using the pararosaniline method. With this method, an adsorbent solution is used for the air sample absorption process. Then tested with UV-Visible spectrophotometry with a wavelength of 550 nm to determine the absorbance. Prediction of the spread of sulfur dioxide gas is done using the Gaussian distribution method where to perform the calculation requires weather data from BMKG class I Medan. The results of the sample testing were carried out at 3 times with a distance of 5 meters, 50 meters, and 100 meters, namely at 08.00 in the morning at 0,1209 ppm; 0,1083 ppm ; 0,0939 ppm, at 12.00 noon at 0,1125 ppm; 0,1060 ppm ; 0,0854 ppm, and at 17.00 pm at 0,1048 ppm ; 0,0974 ppm ; 0,0852 ppm. Based on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021, the quality standard value for the sulfur dioxide gas parameter is 0.2 ppm. Comparison of sample test results with standard values shows that the concentration of sulfur dioxide in the Mandala area is below the quality standard and is declared safe.
