Analisis Drama Panggung 2.5D Adaptasi dari Anime Fruits Basket

Abstract

This study discusses the adaptation of the Fruits Basket Anime into the Fruits Basket 2.5D stage play. The aim is to describe the adaptation through characteristics and adaptation through intrinsic elements in the Fruits Basket Anime into a 2.5D stage play using adaptation theory and characteristics theory. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The main data and data sources come from the Fruits Basket Anime Season 1 and the Fruits Basket 2.5D stage play. The data collection technique used is the observation and note-taking technique, carried out by watching the Fruits Basket Anime and the 2.5D stage play and then recording data related to the study. The literature study technique was also used for data collection. The results of the study show that in adapting the characteristics of the anime into a 2.5-dimensional stage play, there are adjustments while still maintaining the characteristics found in the anime. Then, in adapting the anime into a 2.5-dimensional stage play through the intrinsic elements of drama, namely the theme and message, there are adjustments. However, for the plot, characters, dialogue, and setting, there are changes, additions, and reductions.
