    Abstract
Sei Mati village, Medan Maimun district, is an area with high flood risk due to its geographical location around the Deli River, dense settlements, and inadequate drainage. The knowledge and skills of the community in conducting disaster triage are still limited, making victim handling often uncoordinated. The management of disaster nursing care through triage education is expected to enhance community preparedness. This research aims to analyze the management of disaster nursing care through the provision of disaster triage education to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of community preparedness in Sei Mati village. This study uses a descriptive design with educational interventions through home visits to 35 respondents. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and evaluations, and then analyzed descriptively. Before the education, the majority of respondents (51.43%) had a low level of knowledge regarding disaster triage. After the education was conducted, 75% of respondents were able to understand and correctly explain the triage concept, 8.5% were aware of evacuation routes around their residences, and 70% knew the initial assistance steps for flood victims. The majority of respondents (94.29%) demonstrated a positive attitude towards the education, and 57.14% had implemented prepareditas actions such as preparing emergency bags and planning evacuation routes. Disaster nursing management through disaster triage education is effective in increasing knowledge, forming positive attitudes, and encouraging community preparedness in Sei Mati Village to face flood disasters
