    Abstract
    Objective: Pharmacist Professional Internship (PKPA) at Pharmaceutical Wholesaler (PBF) PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch is one of the professional work practices in the pharmacist professional education program. This PKPA is carried out with the aim of preparing prospective pharmacists so that they can understand the roles, functions and responsibilities of Pharmacists as Responsible Pharmacists (APJ) at PBF in implementing and supervising drug and medical device management activities consisting of procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of drugs and/or drug ingredients that meet the quality requirements set by the Minister in accordance with those required in the Good Drug Distribution Practices (CDOB) guidelines so that drugs and/or drug ingredients are maintained until they reach the hands of consumers and avoid the circulation of counterfeit products. Methods: PKPA at PBF PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch was held on September 2-27, 2024. PKPA activities at PBF PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch are participating in conducting quality inspections, arranging drugs based on dosage forms, alphabetically (principle), and the First Expired First Out (FEFO) system, providing drugs according to the order letter, compiling customer qualification archives, compiling invoices according to order numbers, knowing the system for reporting incoming and outgoing drugs to BPOM, knowing the distribution of Cold Chain Product (CCP) drugs, psychotropics, Certain Drugs (OOT), general drugs, and medical devices, knowing the system for reporting recalls and drug returns, knowing the storage location for quarantine products. Results: The drug and medical device management activities carried out by PBF PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch are in accordance with the requirements of the Good Drug Distribution Practices (CDOB) guidelines. Conclusion: PBF PT. Penta Valent Medan Branch has implemented good CDOB aspects in every aspect and series of its distribution processes so that prospective pharmacists can understand the role and responsibilities as Responsible Pharmacists at PBF.
