Childbirth is the process of delivering the baby, placenta, and amniotic membranes at full term (37-42 weeks). Delivery can occur in two ways: natural
(vaginal) and surgical (cesarean section). A cesarean section is a surgical procedure to deliver a baby through incisions in the abdominal wall and uterus. The incision wound resulting from the cesarean procedure requires hygienic, soft, and comfortable care. Therefore, wound care necessitates the use of specialized underwear that can provide comfort for post-cesarean mothers. Objective: To apply postpartum nursing care management using specialized underwear in post-cesarean section cases. Method: Utilization of specialized underwear as a tool to
enhance comfort in post-cesarean patients. Results: The patient in Case Ny. H reported feeling 100% comfortable, Case Ny. N felt moderately comfortable (approximately 75%), and Case Ny. C also reported 100% comfort. Conclusion: Based on the nursing care provided to the three post-cesarean mothers, it can be concluded that the use of specialized underwear can effectively improve the comfort of post-cesarean patients.
