The level of compliance in the control group also did not show an increase in clinical outcomes of systolic blood pressure (p = 0.06), other clinical outcomes (p = 0.09), quality of life (p=0.19), or perception of halal products (p=0.15). In contrast, in the intervention group, there was a significant difference (p<0.05) between the pretest and posttest in all variables, including an increase in the level of knowledge (p< 0.01), compliance (an increase of 30 compliant respondents), improvement in clinical outcomes (p<0.01), improvement in quality of life (p<0.01), and improvement in perception of halal products (p<0.01).
