    Abstract
Women In The Future (WITF) is a volunteer-based social organization that focuses on gender equality and women’s capacity development through various educational, advocacy, and training programs. The purpose of this study is to explore the volunteer management strategies implemented by WITF in supporting women empowerment programs. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The theoretical framework used is Connors’ Volunteer Management Model known as PEP (Preparation, Engagement, Perpetuation), which consists of three stages: preparation, engagement, and perpetuation. The study also examines women’s empowerment within WITF using Nugroho’s empowerment indicators: access, participation, control, and benefit. The results show that WITF applies a structured volunteer management strategy by involving volunteers from the recruitment stage to capacity development, and provides opportunities for volunteers to actively contribute in designing and implementing programs. Furthermore, WITF has implemented empowerment strategies based on the indicators of access, participation, control, and benefit. However, there are still several limitations in practice, such as in training for coordinators, volunteer recognition, fundraising, and performance evaluation. Despite these challenges, WITF is able to maintain program sustainability and foster strong relationships between volunteers and the organization. This research is expected to contribute to the development of volunteer management in social organizations focused on women’s empowerment.
