Background: The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) is part of the Pharmacist Professional Education Program aimed at equipping prospective pharmacists with competencies in accordance with the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Standards (SKAI). The PKPA program at the Pharmaceutical Wholesaler (PBF) PT. Antarmitra Sembada Branch Medan was conducted as a direct learning activity to understand the implementation of Good Distribution Practice (GDP/CDOB) and the role of pharmacists in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines throughout the distribution chain. Objective: To understand the roles, duties, and responsibilities of pharmacists in a PBF, to comprehend the pharmaceutical distribution system according to GDP guidelines, and to gain practical experience in the management, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in the PBF. Method: The PKPA was carried out at PT. Antarmitra Sembada Branch Medan from September 2–27, 2024, on working days during the company’s operational hours. The activities were conducted under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist (Apoteker Penanggung Jawab/APJ) and included direct observation of operational processes such as planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, product return, recall handling, and reporting in accordance with GDP requirements. Results: Students gained a deep understanding of the quality management system applied in pharmaceutical distribution, the mechanism of medicine distribution, and the pharmacist’s role in maintaining product quality throughout the process. In addition, students obtained hands-on experience in documentation management, reporting of controlled drugs, and handling of cold chain products (CCP). Conclusion: The PKPA at PT. Antarmitra Sembada Branch Medan enhanced students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in pharmaceutical distribution based on GDP principles.
