This study aims to examine business profit variability and the Debt to Income Ratio (DTI) among oil palm farmers who receive Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) financing from Bank X KCP Petisah. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method.. The sample consisted of 45 KUR recipient farmers, with data obtained through interview with the Bank. The data were analyzed using the coefficient of variation, Debt to Income Ratio, as well as simple linier regression tests. The results indicate that the average Debt to Income Ratio value of oil palm farmers was 0.386 or 38.6% in the first year, which decreased to 0.368 or 36.8% in the second year. These values fall within the moderate debt obligation category, suggesting that farmers still possess adequate capacity to meet installment payments, although caution is required. Meanwhile, the calculation of business profit variability showed a coefficient of variation of 0.634 or 63.4% in both the first and second years, indicating a relatively high but stable level of profit fluctuation across periods. Therefore, the study concludes that profit stability is a crucial factor in maintaining a manageable Debt to Income Ratio. The findings provide valuable insights for lending banks in designing risk mitigation strategies and for policymakers in strengthening agricultural financing schemes that are more adaptive to the income dynamics of oil palm farmers.en_US
