dc.description.abstract | Nurses play a very important role in the provision of health services. This study was motivated by issues related to the declining Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) and patient complaints regarding nurses' attitudes and services in inpatient room of Haji Hospital Medan. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of work motivation on nurse performance in inpatient room of Haji Hospital Medan. The type of study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional method. The population of the study was 322 nurses in inpatient room of Haji Hospital Medan with a total of 76 respondents. The data collection techniques using interview and questionnaire techniques with data analysis using multiple linear regression test. Based on the results, there is a significant influence of work motivation on nurse perfomance (p-value = 0.0001), which means that there is a simultaneous or concurrent influence of work motivation variables on nurse perfomance in inpatient room of Haji Hospital Medan. Partially, the salary and reward variables have a significant influence and the most dominant factors affecting nurse perfomance, while the variables of responbility, achievement, recognition, self-development, work relationships, and work procedures do not have a significant influence. The R Square value obtained is 0.495, meaning that the variables of achievement, salary, work relationships, and work procedures, they have an influence of 49.5% on nurse perfomance in inpatient room of Haji Hospital Medan. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of work motivation on nurses performance in inpatient room of Haji Hospital Medan. It is hoped that the hospital management can provide recognition to nurses who work overtime or demonstrate good performance. Nurses are expected to be able to improve their performance by providing good service to the patient. | en_US |
