Wound care is the process of restoring the function of damaged tissue after surgery, trauma, or other sources of tissue damage. This process is dynamic and complex, significantly influenced by the nature of the wound, pre- and post-operative management, the patient's health status, and the care environment. This study aims to describe nursing care for patients with lower extremity fractures in Room RB 3 of Haji Adam Malik General Hospital in Medan using the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) method, which focuses on wound care management. This case study employs data collection methods involving interviews, observations, and physical examinations. The data collected are derived from medical records, nursing notes, and diagnostic examination results. The primary complaint identified during the assessment was pain in the fracture area following surgical intervention. The diagnoses identified include skin integrity impairment, acute pain, mobility impairment, bleeding risk, infection risk, and sleep pattern disturbance. The nursing plan focused on wound care after surgery. Implementation and evaluation were carried out, and the results showed that the issues were partially and fully resolved. Nurses are encouraged to further improve their services and nursing care using the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery method for patients with lower extremity fractures to enhance client satisfaction with healthcare services at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital in Medan.en_US
