Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in children under five in Indonesia. The role of mothers in ARI prevention is very important, including the utilization of complementary therapies such as eucalyptus oil inhalation. A family nursing approach can help improve maternal knowledge and skills in early management of ARI. Handling that can be given to maternal clients in preventing ARI in toddlers can be done pharmacologically through medication and non-pharmacology. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is to apply eucalyptus oil inhalation therapy as a non-pharmacological intervention. This senior practice aims to identify the knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers with toddlers and measure the success of mothers with toddlers who experience ARI problems through eucalyptus oil inhalation therapy in Lingkungan VIII Kelurahan Pangkalan Masyhur, Medan Johor District. The methods used in this study were interviews and data collection to 5 mothers with toddlers through pre-test and post-test questionnaires of knowledge, attitudes, actions and observation sheets. Based on the results of service management and nursing care to 5 mothers with toddlers there is an increase in knowledge, attitudes that accept and provide good actions and mothers successfully apply inhalation therapy in toddlers. This senior practice is expected to be an effective alternative method in managing ARI in mothers with toddlers in the community, improving health outcomes and the quality of nursing services using simple inhalation therapy.en_US
