Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Volume Ekspor Crude Palm Oil (CPO) di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I

Abstract

Crude Palm Oil (CPO) exports at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I have fluctuated annually between 2010 and 2023. During this period, PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I contributed 0.341% to Indonesia's total CPO export volume. This study aims to analyze the relationship between CPO export volume at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I and CPO production at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I, the price of Indonesian CPO in the international market, and the price of substitute goods (sunflower oil) from 2010 to 2023. With limited data (14 observations), this study employs a descriptive analysis method using the non-parametric Spearman’s Rho test on secondary time series data spanning 14 years (2010–2023). The results of this study indicate that the volume of CPO exports at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I shows no significant relationship with CPO production at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I, the price of Indonesian CPO in the international market, and the price of substitute goods (sunflower oil). This is likely due to PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I focusing more on domestic policies, specifically the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO).
