Analysis of Factors That Influence Investment Decision of Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
Abstract
This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence investment decisions in manufacturing companies in the food and beverages sub-sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies, totaling 32 companies. The sample studied totaled 13 manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector during the 2016-2020 period with a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and Panel Data Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, and Total Asset Turnover simultaneously have a significant effect on Investment Decisions in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the 2016-2020 period, Current Ratio has a negative and significant effect on Investment Decisions in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the 2016-2020 period, Debt to Equity Ratio has a positive and significant effect on Investment Decisions in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the 2016-2020 period, Return on Assets has a positive and significant effect on Investment Decisions in manufacturing companies sub-sector the food and beverage sector for the 2016-2020 period, and the Total Asset Turnover has a positive and significant effect on Investment Decisions in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the 2016-2020 period.
