Infertility is a reproductive health issue characterized by the inability to achieve pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse. It often leads to psychological distress and social stigma, affecting individuals mental and social well-being. WHO estimates that approximately 50 to 80 million couples worldwide experience infertility, with around 2 million new cases each year. A preliminary survey showed that at Hamlet V Sumber Melati Diski Village, there are 11 couples of reproductive age experiencing infertility. Among these, two infertile women as the initial sample of the pre-research reported experiencing psychological and social impacts as result of their infertility, irrespective of its etiology. This research aims to analyze the causes of infertility, psychological and social impacts, and coping strategies of infertility among couples of reproductive age at Hamlet V Sumber Melati Diski Village. This type of research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study technique. Informants as many as 3 couples of reproductive age were obtained using the Purposive and Snowball sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that causes of infertility among reproductive-age couples included smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, obesity, unhealthy diet, and occupational exposure to welding fumes. Psychological impacts included feelings of sadness, anxiety, low self-esteem, loneliness, and anger, while social impacts involved negative stigma from family and society. Coping strategies included engaging in activities, self-isolation, not making any efforts, rejection of infertility treatment, seeking medical consultation, traditional treatments, adoption, seeking informational support, maintaining a positive outlook, and appreciating the value of their partner over childbearing. It is hoped that couples of reproductive age provide mutual support in coping with infertility, adopting a healthy lifestyle, seek accurate information and consult qualified healthcare professionals such as midwives to receive appropriate treatment.en_US
