| dc.description.abstract | Indoor air pollution is a serious problem that has a direct impact on human health and
productivity. To answer this challenge, this research aims to design and implement an
Internet of Things (IoT)-based air quality monitoring system using NodeMCU ESP8266
integrated with DHT-11 sensor for temperature and humidity measurement and MQ-135
sensor for harmful gas detection. Data from the sensors is displayed in real-time through
an OLED screen and the Blynk application, and is equipped with a buzzer feature as a
warning system when the air quality is at a dangerous level. The test results show that the
DHT-11 and MQ-135 sensors have a fairly good accuracy rate with an error value below
5%. This system is proven to be able to monitor indoor air conditions effectively and
efficiently, as well as provide early notification of potential air pollution hazards. This
innovation is expected to be widely used in closed environments such as laboratories,
classrooms, or other public spaces to improve the quality of life and health of users. | en_US |
