    Abstract
Stroke is a type of cerebrovascular disease that occurs due to the blockage or rupture of blood vessels in the brain. An unhealthy lifestyle is one of the main contributing factors, reflecting a lack of awareness in maintaining personal health. Habits such as smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, unhealthy eating, and lack of exercise can increase the risk of stroke. Range of Motion (ROM) exercises are designed to move joints and muscles within their normal range of motion. ROM exercises aim to optimize and restore joint movement, improve muscle tone, and increase muscle mass in patients with stroke. Early implementation of ROM exercises can stimulate muscle strength. If hemiparesis is not managed promptly, it may lead to permanent disability. The purpose of this senior practicum is to apply nursing care concepts (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation), with the main nursing problem being impaired physical mobility and the secondary issue being the risk of falls in post-non- hemorrhagic stroke patients. The nursing intervention provided was education on Range of Motion (ROM) exercises. This case study is descriptive in nature, with the subject being Mr. I, a post-non-hemorrhagic stroke patient who experienced decreased muscle strength. The study was conducted in Environment XI, Gedung Johor Subdistrict, Medan Johor District over five days, focusing on mobility assistance and fall prevention. The results showed improvement in muscle strength scale and reduction in fall risk. It is recommended that the family continue applying ROM techniques to maintain and improve muscle tone in post-stroke patients.
