| dc.description.abstract | This research was conducted at the Sorkam Police Sector,Tapanuli Tengah Regency,located on Sibolga-Barus Road Km.35,Sorkam Village,Sorkam Subdistrict.The purpose of this study is to examine the management of Police Clearance Certificate(SKCK)records at the Sorkam Police Sector,Tapanuli Tengah Regency.This study used a qualitative descriptive method,with data collected through interviews.The informants consisted of three people,selected using purposive sampling:the Head of the SKCK Intelligence Unit,the SKCK Officer,and the Records Officer at the Sorkam Police Sector.The results of this study indicate that the management of SKCK records at the Sorkam Police Sector involves the following:First,the creation of SKCK records complies with the requirements and procedures established by the Sorkam Police Sector.Second,the use of SKCK records facilitates service delivery to users and supports administrative order,for instance,by simplifying the renewal process for expired SKCKs.Third,the maintenance of SKCK records lacks specific preservation methods;they are merely stored in the SKCK Unit's document storage room. Fourth,the disposition of SKCK records is not systematically carried out;old records areplaced in a warehouse and then simply burned. | en_US |
