Through song lyrics, humans can express their ideas, ideas and feelings both orally and in writing to others. This research aims to describe the style of comparative language and the mandate contained in the album Manusia by Tulus. The theory applied in this research is stylistic theory. Tarigan stated that there are four types of language styles, namely, comparative language style, contradictory language style, link language style, and looping language style. This research aims to describe the style of comparative language and the mandate contained in the album Manusia by Tulus. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using recording techniques. The data in this study is the lyrics of the song in the album Manusia. From the results of the research, it was found that the use of language styles contained in the lyrics of the song in the album Manusia by Tulus, namely: the personification language styles found were 13 in the song lyrics. Next, the Metaphorical language styles found were 12 in the lyrics of the song. Furthermore, the mandate in the album contained in each song lyrics in the Manusia album has a significant consistency. Overall, this album teaches important values such as happiness, love, self-acceptance, and gratitude, as well as appreciating every moment in the journey of life.
