Abstract

This paper entitled “A Description of Setting in J.K.Rowling’s Novel : Harry Potter and the Philopher’s Stone” gives a brief description about setting place, time, and atmosphere that found in the novel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The writer of this paper is discussing about the sacral place, time, and atmosphere in the novel. In completing the research, the writer uses the library research method by read the novel, papers, and searching on internet to find information about the setting. the writer also uses the descriptive qualitative, the finding that the writer gained here is that view the description of setting place, time, and atmosphere in the novel.
