    Abstract
UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) have the capability to collect geospatial data accurately and rapidly, thus providing the necessary information to identify flood-prone areas. Paya Pasir Village in Medan Marelan Subdistrict is a coastal area affected by sea level rise. UAVs can quickly and efficiently map areas affected by flooding. The capability of UAVs to estimate inundated areas due to sea level rise is utilized to generate ground surface elevation data in coastal areas to estimate areas potentially affected by tidal flooding. The objective of this research is to map the distribution of tidal flood vulnerability levels and identify areas affected by tidal flooding in Paya Pasir Village, Medan Marelan. This research uses scoring, weighting, and overlay methods. The creation of this vulnerability map uses 6 parameters including elevation maps, slope, distance from rivers, distance from coastline, soil texture, and land use. This then produces a vulnerability map with vulnerable, moderately vulnerable, and non-vulnerable classes. The research results show that there are vulnerable areas covering 21.70 Ha, moderately vulnerable areas covering 483.21 Ha, and non-vulnerable areas covering 117.80 Ha. Areas with high vulnerability levels are located in regions near the coast and rivers, and have low elevation and poor drainage systems. Adaptation strategies that can be implemented by residents to reduce tidal flood threats include structural strategies such as building water gate systems and constructing sea dikes, non-structural strategies such as creating stilt houses, and community-based strategies such as education and training programs.
